Current Missions Opportunity

THE MISSION:

At the request of the Ukrainian Church and our national partners, to provide personal and humanitarian aid from the hands of churches in the U.S. to the hands of churches and displaced communities in Ukraine. In the summer of 2022 over 1,200 crates were taken to Ukraine.

In an effort to continue work in Ukraine, MTW has created a system to drop crates in Chattanooga and Dallas. One shipping company will take all of these crates to Ukraine at the end of March.

HOW GRACE+PEACE IS RESPONDING

Over the next couple of weeks, you can go to this WISHLIST on Amazon to order specific items that will be packed in crates and sent to Ukraine. (To view the quantities needed, make sure to look at the list view.) When you order an item, it will subtract from the wishlist. Make sure the items are going to your home!

Here’s a couple of specifics about this project:

You may spend as much or little as you decide. But, know that each crate will cost $800-$1000 to fill completely. We hope to fill 3-4 crates.
Some items on the Amazon list need to be purchased immediately. These are marked high priority. Please make sure they will arrive by March 11th.

On March 12th, we will have a time of prayer at the OSDA Church (more details to come).

You will bring your items, or send them with a friend.
We will gather around these items you are given and offer them in gratitude and thanksgiving to God.
We will pack each crate. If there are any missing items, G+P will complete the crates.

The week of March 13th, we will transport the crates to the shipping facility.
